Product Description

Tiparos fish sauce is a classic pantry staple for those who cook Thai, Vietnamese, or Southeast Asian food at home. It's made in the Thai style and gives dishes a savory-umami depth, one that isn't always noticeable on its own but is immediately missed when absent.

It's used to season Thai curries, Pad Thai, noodle soups, Tom Yum, Tom Kha, stir-fries, papaya salad, dipping sauces, and marinades for chicken, fish, beef, or tofu. It also works excellently in combination with lime, chili, garlic, palm sugar, and herbs, creating the classic Thai balance between salty, sour, spicy, and sweet.

Tips
Start with a small amount – fish sauce is concentrated and very salty. For a quick Thai salad, mix fish sauce with lime juice, a little sugar, chili, and garlic. For a stir-fry or curry, add it towards the end of cooking to fine-tune the saltiness and umami. After opening, it's recommended to close tightly and store in a cool, dry place or according to the manufacturer's instructions.
