Yuzu has an elegant and complex citrusy character – less sharp than regular lemon, but much more aromatic and unique. A few drops are enough to open up a soy sauce, refresh a vinaigrette, refine sashimi or tartare, or give a marinade for fish, chicken, or tofu a clean and more interesting Japanese direction. Tips
Start with a small amount and taste, as its aroma is quickly noticeable. Excellent for mixing with soy sauce and sesame oil for a quick dressing, with honey or mirin for a marinade, and with soda or gin for a refreshing cocktail with a Japanese twist.
