Tamanohikari Kyo no Umeshu is a delicate and refreshing Japanese plum liqueur, with a pleasant combination of natural plum tartness, balanced sweetness, and a smooth character derived from its sake base. The use of Junmai Ginjo sake gives it a cleaner and more elegant feel than a simple plum liqueur.

It can be enjoyed very cold, on the rocks, or mixed with soda for a light and sparkling drink. It is especially suitable as an after-dinner drink, for Japanese entertaining, alongside delicate desserts, fruits, sushi, light Japanese dishes, or as a sweet-and-sour moment after an Asian meal.
