Product Description

Kimchi is one of the most recognizable flavors associated with Korean cuisine: fermented cabbage, red seasoning, pleasant sourness, mild spiciness, and a lot of depth. The Jongga version comes in a convenient individual can, ready to eat, without preparations and without a large jar to commit to.

It works great as is, as a small side dish with white rice, ramen, noodles, or homemade Korean dishes. You can also incorporate it into cooking: stir-fry with white rice for kimchi fried rice, add to an omelet, include in a sandwich, or add a small spoonful to soup to introduce sourness, spiciness, and a distinct Korean character.

Tips
For quick kimchi fried rice, finely chop some kimchi and stir-fry with cold rice, soy sauce, sesame oil, and an egg. If eating straight from the can, it's best to serve cold alongside a hot dish – the contrast between the cool sourness and warm rice or ramen makes all the difference.
